5. Digital Signatures and Legal Validity

SureThing facilitates the creation of digital signatures that are intended to be legally binding. You acknowledge that:

  • Digital signatures created through our platform are legally equivalent to handwritten signatures in most jurisdictions
  • You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws regarding digital signatures
  • The legal validity of contracts may vary by jurisdiction and contract type
  • We recommend consulting with legal counsel for complex or high-value contracts

6. Payment Terms

Our payment processing is handled securely through Stripe. By using our payment services, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as described in our pricing
  • Provide accurate payment information
  • Authorize us to charge your chosen payment method
  • Be responsible for all taxes and fees associated with your use

Refunds are handled according to our refund policy, which may vary by service type and jurisdiction.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

SureThing and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the service, including:

  • User interface design and user experience

Your Rights

You retain ownership of all content you create, including contracts, signatures, and uploaded documents. You grant us a limited license to:

  • Perform technical operations required for service delivery

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection, use, and protection practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

9. Service Availability and Maintenance

While we strive to provide continuous service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • You may delete your account and stop using the service
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms
  • We may terminate the service with reasonable notice

Upon termination, you will retain access to your data for a reasonable period to allow for export, subject to our data retention policies.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through:

You may seek relief in small claims court for disputes that qualify under applicable small claims rules.

14. General Provisions

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect

Waiver:

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver

Assignment:

You may not assign these terms without our written consent

Force Majeure:

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
